About the event
Junior and Emerging Women in Law (JEWL) is running a special After Work Chat on Monday 29 November 7:00 - 8:15 pm AEDT for junior women and gender diverse individuals interested in working in the international legal context.
The four guests are all inspiring Australian law grads. Come along and meet
* Caroline Haywood, Senior Law and Policy Advisor at ClientEarth, London. Caroline recently attended COP26 on behalf of ClientEarth.
* Suzie Wnukowska-Mtonga, Associate Program Manager at Trial Watch, Clooney Foundation for Justice. She is a human rights lawyer with a passion for women's rights.
* Yolanda Lau, Senior Associate at Hogan Lovells Hong Kong. Yolanda has over 10 years of litigation experience in Hong Kong acting in multi-jurisdictional court proceedings, arbitration, and mediation.
* Fauve Kurnadi, Legal Advisor, Finding a Pathway to Reconciliation, Department of Premier and Cabinet (Tas). Fauve previously worked as International Humanitarian Law Legal Advisor, Australian Red Cross, Hobart Tasmania.
This is a unique opportunity to chat informally and ask questions of these great young women.
Places are limited to 25 attendees.
The format includes a short introduction, followed by 3 x 20 minute breakout room chat with 5 - 6 attendees and one guest, and a final discussion on how to stay in touch in the future.
Cost - $15 or free for members of JEWL.
